Public Training Terms of Entry

For the safety our athletes, staff and guests we’ve implemented additional requirements for public training at QSAC.

When training or visiting QSAC please adhere to the following: 

  • Check-in use the Check-in Qld app, this is required. Please see our friendly staff should you require assistance with checking in.

  • Keep physical contact to a minimum and physically distance where possible. Limit sharing of equipment wherever possible.

  • All individuals entering the State Athletics Facility and Main Stadium should utilise the hand sanitiser stations on entry and exit.

  • Parents and guardians are able to attend, however they must also check in. Parents and guardians are not required to pay for the session.

  • Standard training fees apply and we are cashless, with a preference for tap and go. We are accepting our multiple use passes.


Athletics equipment use restrictions:

  • Please ensure to sanitise your equipment before and after use.

  • High jump and Pole vault may be used in a limited way:

    • Bars and other shared equipment must be wiped down using the provided disinfectant spray and wipes before and after use

  • Venue supplied hurdles may be used in a limited way:

    • Hurdles must be wiped down using the provided disinfectant spray and wipes before and after use

    • Hurdles must be returned to the storage location at the end of the session


Visitors do not need to be double vaccinated to attend QSAC tracks and stadiums for training, meets or events where the crowd will be less than 5,000 people. The Venue will specifically indicate via the event webpage if an event has double vaccination requirements.

Our team is operating in accordance with COVID-19 Health Directives and our approved Site Specific COVID Safe Plan.

We are undertaking increased cleaning of equipment and amenities, providing hand sanitizer on entry and exit, and displaying a range of health precaution signage through our facilities.
